Doctor data

Doctor profiles are compiled from information the doctors’ hospitals publish on their own public websites (name, specialty, biography, qualifications, practice locations). Doctors can request corrections via “Suggest a correction” on their profile or the contact form.

What we collect from visitors

Browsing requires no account. We use privacy-respecting product analytics (PostHog, EU-hosted) to understand how the site is used — searches performed, pages viewed. We honor “Do Not Track”. Location (“near me”) is used only in your browser session and rounded before use; it is never stored server-side.

Accounts

If you create an account (via our auth provider, Clerk), we store your account id, your saved doctors, visit log entries, and reviews you write. We do not store medical records. You can request deletion of your account and its data via the contact form.

Reviews

Published reviews show your review text, rating, and visit month — never your email. Reviews containing personal data are rejected in moderation.

AI symptom search

The text you type into the symptom search is processed to suggest a medical specialty and cached in anonymized form to speed up identical queries. Don’t include personal identifying details in it.
